A very well done to the 39 Harmenites who completed the December Heriot Watt 5k Handicap Race. It isn’t an easy course and I know that some of you completed it during difficult conditions.
Now here are the results!
The winner of the Race was Susan Irwin taking an incredible 4 minutes and 53 seconds off her previous best 5k time. Well done Susan and to Eleanor Mitchell and Kirsten Pringle in 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
In 4th place and best net male result was Ian Smith who took almost 2 minutes off his previous best.
The fastest gross male and female runners and times were Phil Buckley at 18.49 (3 seconds faster than Philip Holden!) and Elaine Walker at 22.39.
As with the August Handicap Race, prizes in the form of Club Merchandise, will be handed out at our Awards Evening whenever we are able to safely hold it.
If you would like to see the full results, please PM me with your email and I will send them to you.
Congratulations

to the winners and, most of all, to every single one of you who took part.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and, here’s hoping, everything you wish for in 2021!
