Want to join us?

We take athletes from 7 years upwards – from beginners to experienced athletes.  Our training nights are Monday and Thursday at Saughton Track and Wednesday at Balerno High School, with plenty of ad-hoc sessions for older athletes to prepare for competition.  We encourage everyone to try a bit of everything in our multi-event groups (running, jumping and throwing), especially in the younger age categories, although there are groups that do a little more running (both sprinting and endurance) than jumping or throwing.

Our current sessions are:

  1. Monday 4.30-5.30 – Under-9 (7,8,9) multi-event group
  2. Monday 5.30-6.30 – Under-11 (9,10) multi-event group
  3. Monday 6.35-8pm – Under 13 (11,12) Multi-event group
  4. Monday 6.35-8pm – Under 15/17 (13,14,15,16+) Multi-event group
  5. Monday 6.35-8pm –Under 15/17/20+ (12+) Sprint Groups
  6. Monday 6.35-8pm – Under 11/13/15 (9-14)Endurance running group
  7. Monday 7-8.30pm – Under 13/15/17/20 (12+) Endurance running group
  8. Wednesday 5-6pm – Under 11/13 (9,10,11) multi-event group
  9. Wednesday 6-7pm – Under 13/15 (11+) multi-event group
  10. Thursday 4.30-5.30 – Under-9 (7,8,9) multi-event group
  11. Thursday 5.30-6.30 – Under-11 (9,10) multi-event group
  12. Thursday 6.35-8pm – Under 13 (11,12) Multi-event group
  13. Thursday 6.35-8pm – Under 15/17 (13,14,15,16+) Multi-event group
  14. Thursday 6.35-8pm –Under 15/17/20+ (12+) Sprint Groups
  15. Thursday 6.35-8pm – Under 11/13/15 (9-14) Endurance running group
  16. Thursday 6.30-8pm – Under 13/15/17/20 (12+) Endurance running group
