Want to join us?

We take athletes from 8 years upwards – from beginners to experienced athletes.  Our training nights are Monday and Thursday at Saughton Track, with plenty of ad-hoc sessions for older athletes to prepare for competition.  We encourage everyone to try a bit of everything in our multi-event groups (running, jumping and throwing), especially in the younger age categories, although there are groups that do a little more running (both sprinting and endurance) than jumping or throwing.

Our current sessions are:

  1. Monday 4.30-5.30 (U9/11) (7,8,9) Run Jump and Throw
  2. Monday 5.30-6.30 – Under-11/13 (8,9,10,11) Multi-event group
  3. Monday 6.30-8pm – 11+ Multi-event group
  4. Monday 6.30-8pm –12+ Sprint Group
  5. Monday 6.30-8pm – 10+ Boys Endurance running group
  6. Monday 6.30-8pm – 10+ Girls Endurance running group
  7. Monday 6.30-8pm – 13+ Girls Endurance running group
  8. Monday 7-8.30pm – 13+ Boys Endurance running group
  9. Thursday 5.30-6.30 – Under-11/13 (8,9,10,11) Multi-event group
  10. Thursday 6.30-8pm – 11+ Multi-event group
  11. Thursday 6.30-8pm –12+ Sprint Group
  12. Thursday 6.30-8pm – 10+ Boys Endurance running group
  13. Thursday 6.30-8pm – 10+ Girls Endurance running group
  14. Thursday 6.30-8pm – 13+ Girls Endurance running group
  15. Thursday 6.30-8pm – 13+ Boys Endurance running group
