Harmeny had much to celebrate at the recent Virgin London Marathon. Firstly, we had 8 runners complete the course, 2 of whom had ‘won’ their places in the club ballot – well done to Kim Kenny and John Pringle, we hope you enjoyed the experience.
All our members did well however two of our athletes performed exceptionally well in their respective age categories.
Helena Mackay (75-79 ages) finished 3rd in her age group in a time of 4:55:32, which was a new PB
Patricia Hampton (70-74 age group) was 4th in a time of 4:25:09, missing out on 3rd place by under 30 seconds.
