20 juniors and 12 adults braved the cool conditions on the second leg of the East District Cross Country League.
Alloa is a tough hilly course however it was great to see the enthusiasm from all our juniors who tackled it very well. Every athlete who competes makes an important contribution to the team and I’m pleased to report that our U11 boys are sitting at 3rd in the Season Team Totals. If we get another good turnout in Broxburn there’s no reason why we can’t even improve our position!
The adult teams all seemed to enjoy the outing, and the obligatory post-race debrief in the pub afterwards. If you’re a member of Harmeny and Scottish Athletics why don’t you come and join us for the last leg of the league in Broxburn on 14th January 2017?
