Saturday 29th April saw the track season start in earnest with the first of 3 Forth Valley League matches at Craigswood Sports Centre, Livingston. The response from our athletes has been superb and this year we have 2 separate teams competing in Divisions 2 and 3 respectively.
Many of our new or younger athletes were competing for the very first time. Particular mention goes to Caragh McMaster, Ella Jones and Kieran Hardie who are all new to the club and performed admirably in the 800m with wins in each of their races.
A special mention also goes out to Sophie Raymond who stepped up at late notice to compete in the U15 girls 1500m. This is not Sophie’s usual event but she managed to keep smiling all the way round.
The final result sees Harmeny currently 5th overall in Division 2 and 4th overall in Division 3.
