SUMMARY:Jedburgh Three Peaks Ultramarathon (The race that never grows up...)
DESCRIPTION:There will be 300 ultramarathon places and 25 relay team places​ \nEntries for the relay race will remain open for ONE WEEK\, closing at 8:00pm on Sun 13th May.  Team places for the relay race will be allocated by ballot. \n​Priority will be given to teams whose runners have previously marshalled at our event and/or at other SUMS races \n​Don’t get in touch with us to grumble about this. If you can find the time to run ultras\, you can find the time to marshal at them every now and then! \n​Entrants for both events must be at least 20 years old on race day \n​Oh\, and once more\, the relay race is compulsory fancy dress :-)

SUMMARY:Great Glen Race 2018
DESCRIPTION:The Great Glen Ultra is one of Scotland’s toughest running challenges. \nStarting from Neptune’s Staircase outside Fort William\, the route follows a series of Glens along a geological fault-line to Inverness.  You’ll run through some of the most stunning scenery that Scotland has to offer\, whether down at the side of lochs & rivers\, or climbing up through forests to the top of the hills which make the dramatic and vast glens. \nThe race takes place each July with a 1am start from Neptune’s Staircase. \nRunners then have 22 hours to cover the 71 miles to Inverness where the race will finish at Inverness Athletics Stadium. \nFind out more about the race by clicking on the pages above which should give you all the info you need to know. \nThe 2018 Great Glen is a qualifier for the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc® series.

SUMMARY:West Highland Way Race 2018
DESCRIPTION:The West Highland Way Race is one of the world’s longest established ultra-marathons\, first taking place in 1985 on the long distance trail between Milngavie (just north of Glasgow) and Fort William in the Scottish Highlands. \nSince then it has developed a worldwide reputation as one of the ‘classic’ ultra-marathon races\, attracting runners to Scotland from all over the world.  Entry is limited to 265 runners each year\, with the relatively small size of the field helping to preserve the friendly nature of the event. \n2018 will see the 34th running of this great race.  It would be my pleasure to welcome you in the future. SUMMARY:Dunblane Road Race\, 12km
DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT IS APART OF THE HPR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP. \n  \nThe 12km road race is for adults\, there is a juniors 2km event on the same day. \nThe route takes runners past some of Dunblane’s most iconic landmarks including the Golden Post Box\, stunning backdrop of the Dunblane Hydro\, through the beautiful village of Kinbuck\, past Andy Murray’s exclusive Cromlix House Hotel as well as the picturesque views along the Auchenlay road. \nThe route is generally flat\, with some undulation and a short hill at around 4 miles. It is mostly on country roads. Bear in mind it is not a closed road race and some traffic will be encountered. Keep to the left\, and take extra care as you come back into Dunblane and pass Tesco. The route is heavily marshalled. If you do drop out please let a marshal know – First Aid cover is available.

Runners take in the historic Royal Yacht Britannia\, the picturesque Victoria Park and enjoy tranquil cycle paths before a fantastic finish in front of the West Stand at BT Murrayfield Stadium. \nEach runner will receive a fantastic goody bag\, running belt\, accurate chip timing\, training plan for various fitness levels\, great medal\, results posted on their My Details account within 48 hrs\, race recovery pack and a fantastic running experience! \nKilomathon offers something a little bit different to your usual running event. DESCRIPTION:Cross Country Roll Call… The first East District Cross Country match of the season is at Stirling University on Saturday 17th October and ALL MEMBERS are encouraged to compete.
